We sincerely thank you for your interest in donating to Prisoners in the Far East World War II International.

On a special note, donations to the memory of Dr. Robert F. Goad, our recently deceased vice-president, are especially appreciated and and will be recognized as such. Dr. Goad's welcome remarks on our home page were filmed just days before his untimely death on May 31, 2009. His contributions to the knowledge base for establishing this website and to the memorial museum itself are significant. His passing leaves an immense void.

FarEastPOWSInternational.org has already obtained official non-profit status. Any donation, no matter how small, will help realize the dream. Design and construction of the memorial museum will be funded by a combination of private, public, and governmental donations.

Donations will be used to obtain, display, and maintain objects and materials that will educate the public about the prisoners' experiences in World War II and raise awareness of their sacrifices. The memorial museum will educate the public about the prisoners' experiences in World War II and raise awareness of their sacrifices. Various plaques will contain narrative descriptions of the historical events surrounding the Bataan Death March, the imprisonment of Allied soldiers and civilians, and the Allied fight for the Philippines.

The memorial museum will be devoted to the procurement, care, and display of objects of lasting interest and value, such as artifacts, pictures, maps, journals, letters, and films. In addition, space for display will be offered to American and Allied veteran organizations. The museum will also feature information on civilian prisoners as well as the native Filipinos' guerrilla warfare during the Japanese occupation and their aid during Allied liberation.

Once open, the memorial museum will sponsor speakers and classes on location to foster a better understanding of the history and events surrounding the experiences of the Allied prisoners. The MEMORIAL museum will promote civic appreciation for the soldiers, sailors, and Marines who serve and defend America.
